Luciana Paoluzzi and Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana was a student at a local high school prior to matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two females in the class. Luciana first became a fashion model after just two years. Her professional career took a turn following, and by chance she landed her first role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first wife. They got married in 1960 and produced the film Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana and Charles had a child who was named Charles on 13th June 1961. But, they broke up after a year of the birth. Luciana then gained custody. Luciana was in a relationship with Tony Athony between 1962 between 1962 and 1970. He was an actor and producer who was inspired to write and produce the Spaghetti Western hybrid based on her character as Green Slime.
