Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and singer. Most people recognise her character Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. While she is a performer, her primary passion is music. According to her, music is the first thing that interests her. She is experimenting at since she was 9 years old. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12. At 13, she began writing songs. Her debut album when she was 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia has been born in the USA but has Hispanic origins. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English as a child and spent her entire life in the United States. Her aim is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs, and also studying the Spanish language. One of her attempts was the creation of a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she received four "yeses", or votes by the judges at The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was to be a part of "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. But, three female singers along with her were put together to audition the rest of her music. Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
