Andra Day and Andi Matichak
Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is an American R&B soul, soul and singer/songwriter. The Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are just a few of her many awards she's been awarded. She was also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra Day is a gifted and skilled artist. It's not like she's an old-fashioned R&B specialist, however her experience in gospel jazz, as well as the blues is evident and is a perfect fit for today's music. Her debut album Cheers to the Autumn (2015) is an immediate hit in the R&B/hiphop genre and led to a number of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Kai Millard Morris was able to catch a performance she gave and then returned to the studio with Day's tracks the singer. The Motown legend then became acquainted Day with industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day joined forces with Gurvitz's Buskin label as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, built a popularity on YouTube, and was signed by Warner Bros. in 2012. Day then released her debut single Forever Mine. DJs immediately played the track in radio. In the year 2015, following her signing with Warner Bros. Records she began work on her debut album, Cheers to The Fall, featuring Adrian Gurvitz. The album included the track Rise up, which was adopted as a national anthem by the social justice movement across the world. Day was nominated for two Grammy Awards with the latter being Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album that chronicles the legendary jazz artist's life, was released in the year the year 2019. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biography of Holiday which was released in the following year. Andi Mathichak was born America. She made her debut in the movie Halloween as Allyson After appearing on various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black), 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods as well as Orange is the new black. Andi Matichak is an American actress born March 3, 1994, in Framingham Massachusetts in the United States.
