Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book author for many years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina started writing Nuclear energy and policy documents for the White House. Though she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually lost interest. She then bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a massive success she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. Numerous other books as well as magazines followed. The Food Network TV show also debuted with great hit. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and has a complete self-taught. She is well-known for her easy style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation. Some of her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
